Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") are an agreement between Rabbet Art Services ("Service provider", "we", "us", or "our") and the customer ("Customer", "you", "your") regarding the services provided by Rabbet Art Services. This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of our services.

**1. Services:**

   - We offer custom framing services for artwork, photographs, and other items as agreed upon between the Framer and the Customer using bare wood timber. 
   - We will use reasonable efforts to complete the framing work in a timely manner, however, specific completion times cannot be guaranteed and may vary depending on workload and complexity of the project. Specific deadlines need to be agreed ahead of work commencing. As standard, lead times are 4-6 weeks. 

**2. Pricing and Payment:**
   - Pricing for framing services will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work and outlined in a quotation provided to the Customer.
   - All prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
   - A deposit of 50% is required unless we state otherwise. The remaining balance is due before the release of the work. 
   - We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and BACS. Please note there is a surcharge for credit/ debit card. 

**3. Materials:**
   - The Framer will utilize high-quality materials suitable for preserving and displaying the Customer's artwork or items.
   - If the Customer has specific material preferences, they must communicate them to the Framer prior to the commencement of work.
   - The Framer will not be responsible for any damage caused to artwork or items provided by the Customer due to pre-existing conditions or poor quality materials.

**4. Artwork and Liability:**
   - The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the handling and framing requirements of their artwork or items.
   - While the Framer will take all reasonable precautions to protect artwork and items, we cannot be held liable for any damage or loss that occurs during the framing process. If you're work is of a significant value, you are responsible for the insurance of the artwork whilst in our possession. 
   - The Customer acknowledges that some degree of risk is inherent in the framing process and agrees to release the Framer from any liability for such risks.

**5. Ownership and Pickup:**
   - The Customer retains ownership of all artwork and items provided for framing.
   - Framed items must be picked up within 30 days of completion unless prior arrangements have been made.
   - If items are not picked up within the specified timeframe, the Framer reserves the right to charge storage fees or dispose of the items at their discretion but not until we have exhausted any efforts to arrange for collection. 

**6. Cancellations and Refunds:**
   - The Customer may cancel framing services at any time prior to the commencement of work but may need to pay for any materials purchased. 
   - Deposits or payments made for cancelled orders may be refunded at the discretion of the Framer.
   - Once framing work has commenced, cancellations may be subject to a partial or full charge depending on the progress of the project.

**7. Intellectual Property:**
   - The Customer warrants that they have the necessary rights or permissions to reproduce any copyrighted materials provided for framing.
   - The Framer will not be held liable for any infringement of intellectual property rights resulting from the framing of copyrighted materials provided by the Customer.

**8. Amendments:**
   - The Framer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
   - Amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.

By utilizing our framing services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these terms, please contact us before proceeding with framing services.
